Ms. Childress is a certified Level 1 Brainspotting Practitioner and SSP (Safe and Sound Protocol) provider.

Recognizing the significant impact of trauma and narcissistic abuse and its often overlooked nature, her focus is on educating her clients about this issue, teaching healing skills, and providing support throughout their recovery process. Committed to offering resources and assistance, she strives to empower individuals affected by trauma and narcissistic abuse to reclaim control over their lives and well-being.

Recognizing the need for services while she was in Law Enforcement, Ms. Childress began working with a police and public safety psychologists office providing mental health services to first responders and their family members in 2021. Ms. Childress has provided a non-judgemental and safe environment for clients in a therapeutic setting for the last 3 years. As a former first responder, she is familiar with the first responder culture and nuance that comes with it. Ms. Childress enjoys providing brainspotting services as she has found it to be extremely helpful for reducing trauma symptoms.

Ms. Childress is a volunteer with the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation and has worked on every line of duty death funeral in Colorado since the foundation’s first LODD funeral in 2017. She is also a member of Violence Free Colorado and the Society for Police and Criminal Psychology.
